The 'Here to There' approach

Effective coaching is founded on the belief that you hold the answers and resources within you, and the coach’s job is to act as the catalyst to unlock that potential.

This differs from other kinds of personal and professional support, in that my role as a coach is not to be an advisor who offers instruction or advice. Rather, I am an enabler who provides structure and discipline while encouraging an attitude and way of thinking that gets you from where you are now to where you want to be.

While our coaching sessions may involve reflection on the past and seeking insight into the present, the process is always future-focused and geared towards clearly defined and achievable outcomes.

"Jacqui’s superpower is her total, clear-sighted honesty. I can genuinely say that we would not be the force we are today without her skill, leadership and talent.”

I will not be shy of asking hard questions or challenging your preconceptions, because honesty and openness are essential, and effective coaching relies on mutual trust and respect.

Each new coaching relationship starts with a clear articulation of expectations and boundaries which are formalised in the client/coach agreement. I will often conduct a DISC personality profile to help work out what makes you tick and how you interact with other personality types.

Everything is conducted in strict confidence and in accordance with the Global Code of Ethics for Coaches, Mentors and Supervisors.

  • Programmes for individuals & businesses

  • Typically 4+ sessions to see real benefits

  • Impartial and non-judgemental service

  • Focused on actions and outcome

  • DISC behavioural and personality profiling

  • Strict confidentiality assured

  • Face-to-face or online meetings

  • Offices in Dorset and Hampshire

As your coach, you need to know that I’m always in your corner and have your best interests at heart. But I also bring an impartiality, honesty and rigour, free of prior assumptions and without judgement. That is the power of coaching.

Here's what some of my clients have to say about my approach to coaching.
